Have a look at our 8" model 40180HC-CT bench top jointer with spiral style cutterhead! With it's width capacity of 8" and 33 1/2" overall table length, which is extendable to 51" total length, what more could you ask for in a bench top portable jointer? Featuring 16 carbide 2-sided inserts you get a great finish and tear out is reduced due to better chip evacuation through its included 2 ½” and 4" dust port adapter. The one piece 4 3/8” high by 19 3/4” long adjustable fence can be tilted from 90 to 135 degrees with ease. The cast aluminum infeed and outfeed tables can easily be leveled if the need occurs and so can the extensions. At about 49 lbs, and with a 120 VOLT 10 AMP motor, it’s a tough machine and can be easily transported to the job site if necessary. Push blocks and the tools necessary for rotating or replacing the cutter tips are included!

AWSOME!!! July 25, 2019
Reviewer: Retiredtechsgt from Upper peninsula MI
Arrived well packed and in perfect condition. Very easy to set up right out of the box. It is very well built and has handled everything I have used it for with no problem. I have to say I am very pleased with all aspects of this jointer. I would definitely recommend this jointer if you have a small home shop like myself.

My first jointer —- WOW! May 14, 2019
Reviewer: Tnmarathoner from Clarksville TN
Fast shipping; ordered this jointer on Tuesday, was shipped on Wednesday, and arrived on Thursday. Spent a while leveling tables, then tried running a board thru; looked terrible. Spent another 45 minutes leveling tables; now it works great. Lesson learned; take your time and get EVERYTHING LEVEL! This is a great jointer producing flat, very flat boards with “perfect” 90 degree jointing edge. Another lesson learned; empty dust collector before it is full. Note; don’t forget to loosen the thumb-screws to move extension arms in/out and retighten before use. Again, this is a great jointer that I highly recommend, even for an amateur like me.

Very impressed February 18, 2019
Reviewer: Brian Penn from North Wales, PA
I purchased the 40180HC a little over a month ago and have had a chance to run a variety of wood through it. So far I am very impressed. The build quality is excellent, it’s fairly quiet (for a jointer), and I had it up and running within an hour of unpackaging. I have experienced no tear out so far, even with highly figured stock. Absolutely worth the money. Highly recommended.

Awesome January 9, 2019
Reviewer: Chuck from Channahon, Illinois
I’ve been struggling for years with an old Craftsman jointer that my father gave me, so I always dreaded milling lumber. Invariably, my boards would be chipped, slightly out of square (despite endless hours adjusting the infeed table) and with a 2 inch snipe on the end of each board. I finally bit the bullet and purchased this unit after reading the reviews. I could not believe how well this thing performed! The tables were co-planer right out to the box, and the fence was easily adjusted to 90 degree. I decided to joint a few test boards with some Ash scrap I had laying around. It was scrap largely because the knots and multi-directional grain pattern, as well as its hardness, made it difficult to process on my old jointer. I started by taking of a small amount (1/32) and a couple of passes on a face an an edge resulted in a glass-smooth surface. I checked with an engineer’s square, and the end result was perfectly square! Several more boards saw the same results.

This was a blind date for me. I had never heard of CUTECH but when the Rikon jointer proved to be on backorder and CUTECH's model looked identical, i decided to try this out.
The machine arrived in perfect shaped, obviously carefully and effectively boxed. The instructions were clearly written, assembly a snap, and best of all, the tables and fence were true right out of the box.
I am a hobbyist, and I bought this machine to replace an old Bridgewood 6" that had gone irretrievably out of true. Although this  machine is 100# lighter, it is solid and neat in design, and the spiral cutterhead leaves a great finish even on gnarly maple.
Overall this machine seems a terrific value for the money.
