We listened to your requests regarding our 8" jointer models and would like to introduce our 8" model 40180HCB-CT bench top jointer now with Teflon coated tables and carbide tips! The Teflon coating provides a slightly slicker surface than waxed plain tables giving better control for those wanting to machine large long heavy planks and beams....such as reclaimed barn beams. With it's width capacity of 8" and 33 1/2" overall table length, which is extendable to 51" total length, what more could you ask for in a bench top portable jointer? Featuring 16 carbide 2-sided inserts you get a great finish and tear out is reduced due to better chip evacuation through its included 2 ½” and 4" dust port adapter. The one piece 4 3/8” high by 19 3/4” long adjustable fence can be tilted from 90 to 135 degrees with ease. The coated cast aluminum infeed and outfeed tables can easily be leveled if the need occurs and so can the extensions. At about 49 lbs, and with a 120 VOLT 10 AMP motor, it’s a tough machine and can be easily transported to the job site if necessary. Push blocks and the tools necessary for rotating or replacing the cutter tips are included! This model comes with the upgraded Teflon tables that are abrasion resistant enabling your work to glide more smoothly across the tables.

My First Jointer June 16, 2019
Reviewer: Robert from Eastern US
Decided on the Cutech because it was the only 8" Jointer available in a benchtop model. Took about an hour to level the tables and make sure they are coplanar. Squared up the fence but be sure not to overtighten because the lowest part of the fence starts to move towards the front of the table when you do. Overall this is a great product that I hope to have for a long time.

Best small shop jointer you'll find. April 2, 2019
Reviewer: Jeff Guenter from Osceola, NE United States
I purchased this jointer a year ago. I never take more than 1/32" on a pass, and this little machine is happy with anything I shove past the cutterhead. I have not had to rotate any of the cutters, yet. That's probably because I take light passes... the tool gets used a lot.

I like the capacity, quiet operation and excellent dust collection this machine offers. It's now hooked up to a 1HP wall hanging DC, but the first few months I was using a shop vac with a cyclone seperator, and that kept up quite well. With the 4" hose and higher CFM collector I haven't clogged anything. I do have a seperator on the DC.

This jointer produces a quality finish and seldom leaves any snipe. Attention to detail and quality control is excellent. Customer service from Cutech is far above average, and they are very helpful if you have any questions. I've decided to buy the Cutech 40200HC-CT planer, next...

Yes I highly recommend this jointer January 9, 2019
Reviewer: cltinseattle from Seattle, WA
I have almost 6 months with this jointer. It is the only 8" benchtop jointer out there and I do use that extra 2" quite often. The black table tops with the two extension wings are also excellent and I use them frequently as well. This jointer is very well engineered, very well made, and everything works better than expected. I sometimes attach a secondary fence to the aluminum fence to add ridgidity and height if needed, but this is a personal preference and I'm not going to ding it a star for the aluminum fence. I have yet to change or rotate a blade, they come very sharp and are still working splendidly after several walnut and hard maple projects were passed over them. If you're in the market for a benchtop jointer then look no further.  Don't get those 6" jointers from the big box stores. This is the most excellent benctop jointer you will ever find and it is worth saving up a few more dollars over those big box store jointers. I couldn't be happier! I LOVE this jointer!

Awesome jointer, even better customer service! June 9, 2018
Reviewer: EDWARD MALKINSKI III from neptune beach, FL United States
I typically don't write reviews, but my experience with cutech was so good, I had to! The quality of the jointer is very good, it's not too noisy, and the cut quality is excellent. When I received it, the blade guard was bent, and the infeed table was a little off. I called customer service, and he walked me through how to get the infeed table set up, and told me he would send another blade guard, and if I couldn't get the infeed table fixed, he would replace that as well. The next day, he called me back to see if I had gotten it fixed, I've never had a company call me back like that, these guys a great! I ended up getting a new blade guard and infeed table 2 days later, the machine is set up and cutting perfectly, very satisfied customer!
